How to choose a moka pot for your home
Three questions to ask before you buy: how many cups, which hob, and how much cleaning you're happy to do every day.

A moka pot only sits on the hob for a few minutes, but it becomes part of every morning. That's why it pays to choose for real use, not for how it looks in a shop window.
How many cups do you really need?
Three cups covers breakfast for two, or a single stronger coffee. If you often make coffee for more people, go for a larger size — a moka pot that's too full or too empty brews unevenly.
Your hob and the material
- Induction: you need a compatible base, otherwise the pot simply won't heat.
- Gas: aluminium or steel both work well, as long as the base sits steadily.
- Cleaning: avoid finishes you can't look after the way the product page describes.
Every product page in our shop lists capacity and hob compatibility. We never add made-up certifications: if a detail you need is missing, write to us before you send your order request.
