Kitchen textiles live through the wash. If a tea towel is too pretty to get wet, it isn't the right one for every day.
What to check on the product page
- Fibre: cotton dries hands and dishes without scratching.
- Size: it should cover a baking tray or hang within easy reach.
- Care: if you can't wash it as described, choose another.
Keep two in rotation: one on the hook, one in the wash. A clear print — a bee, a stripe — also stops it getting mixed up with the bathroom towels.
